Responsibilities
Project Description
Trevor was hired to help ensure site usability for a complete redesign of Edmonton.ca. After witnessing the lack of a user-centred approach, he worked closely with project stakeholders and:
• performed inventory of existing site’s content
• mapped existing information architecture (IA) in a sitemap
• transitioned the city’s IA from org-centred to topic and
audience centred
• redesigned & simplified the interaction design
• built and usability tested an Axure prototype
• manage the evolving IA for another year
• updated the UI design and UX writing to accommodate new requirements
